Associate/ Senior Associate - Tax Technology Analyst

Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.

Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and implement technology-driven tax solutions for clients to enhance efficiency and accuracy

- Assist in the integration of new tax technologies and tools, ensuring seamless adoption

- Gather business requirements, analyse functional requirements, implement processes and systems, and provide project management support to deliver innovative tax solutions

- Manage stakeholders expectations through strategic communication and proactive engagement

- Exhibit dedication to client service and internal collaboration, embrace learning opportunities, and maintain a positive attitude towards constructive feedback and personal growth

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science/Information Systems, or a related field

- Approximately 1-3 years of relevant work experience

- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Vietnamese

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is essential

- Knowledge of technology tools such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.), Alteryx, and Generative AI tools is an advantage

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
