Job Responsibilities
As a Relationship Manager (Associate), you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of corporate clients (primarily Japanese) to achieve business targets while maintaining strong credit quality. Key responsibilities include coordinating internally to deliver comprehensive banking solutions (deposits, FX, trade finance, loans), overseeing compliant transactions, preparing credit proposals, contracts, and reports, as well as providing information and performing other business tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with an assigned portfolio of corporate customers, primarily Japanese, to drive business growth, achieve or exceed targets, and ensure high credit quality across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with various departments and functional divisions to develop business strategies and account plans, propose effective banking solutions such as deposits, foreign exchange, trade finance, loans, and execute sales and promotional activities to meet client needs.
- Supervise client transactions to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and strict compliance with local regulations and bank policies.
- Structure and set up credit facilities, including preparing and reviewing credit applications, analyzing clients credit profiles, presenting proposals, and monitoring the overall credit quality of the assigned portfolio.
- Negotiate contractual documents with clients & prepare comprehensive business reports as required.
- Other business tasks assigned by Line Manager/Department Head following branch's vision and strategy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance or related fields.
- Experience in business development or promotion within the foreign or local banking sector is required
- Proven ability to analyze financial reports effectively.
- Strong foundational knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles and concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative team player, and a relentless focus on results.
- Fluent in both spoken & written English and Vietnamese, and native Japanese speaker.
