About The Team
Our department is responsible for managing all Credit products under Monee, including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) and Cash Loan offerings. As part of the ShopeePay ecosystem, we work closely with e-wallet services, digital financial products, and play a key role in supporting the broader Shopee e-commerce platform. Our mission is to build seamless, accessible, and responsible credit solutions that empower users and merchants across the digital economy.
Being a team member, you'll have chances to skill up by doing various kinds of tasks and working with internal and external stakeholders. Main external partners are VN local banks and financial-related organizations.
Job Description
- Review PRD and technical design documents; clarify business logic with the PM to ensure correct understanding of requirements
- Design UAT / Live test plans and write test cases for each new requirement based on clarified PRD.
- Collaborate with System Ops to execute test cases, ensuring the system works stably and correctly
- Raise UAT issues and follow up until resolved.
- Work with developers to analyze and identify the root cause of bugs.
- Track bugs and prepare test reports; conduct live testing on the production environment for each release.
- Proactively report testing progress on a regular basis to relevant stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery; escalate promptly when there's a risk of delay or when priorities change.
- Quality-driven and proactive, adaptable to a dynamic environment with frequent priority and requirement changes.
Requirements
Must have
- Technical skills: Decent technical skills to go through external partner's tech spec, review & come up with system diagram analysis. Ability to quickly learn operating new systems / QA tools.
- Analytical Skills: Experience in technical problem solving; root cause analysis; analysis, and reporting to ensure qualified delivery and timeline aligned.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with PMs, Developers, and Testers /System Ops. Effectively communicate complex business or technical information in English.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). QA experience is preferred.
- Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
- Have a problem-solving mindset, critical thinking, and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
- Have experience in the fintech industry
