Role Summary
The Associate Project Manager (APM) acts as a bridge between high-impact client partnerships and internal strategic initiatives. You will support the delivery of digital products for partners while simultaneously driving internal projects aimed at optimizing how GEEK Up allocates talent and improves delivery processes. This role is ideal for a process-oriented individual who enjoys solving the puzzle of organizational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Dual-Stream Project Support:
- Partnership: Assist in managing digital product lifecycles for external clients following the Co-Creation Model.
- Internal: Support internal projects related to resource allocation, process automation, or workflow optimization within the clan.
- Operational Optimization: Help track and analyze team utilization and project health metrics to ensure Business Allocation is lean and effective.
- Agile & Framework Implementation: Facilitate Agile ceremonies for both client-facing squads and internal task forces, applying GEEK Up's STEP UP framework.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain proactive communication with external partners and internal departments to align project needs with available expertise.
- Data-Driven Documentation: Maintain backlogs and progress reports, focusing on capturing data that helps the clan optimize future project staffing and delivery timelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify waste in current workflows and suggest minor process tweaks to enhance team velocity.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or business analysis within a tech environment.
- Ability to balance the Client-First mindset of partnership projects with the Efficiency-First mindset of internal optimization.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with data, spreadsheets, or project management tools to visualize resource gaps or project bottlenecks.
- Agile Foundation: Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum. Familiarity with Lean principles or the 3P model is a significant advantage.
- Communication: Advanced English and Vietnamese (written and verbal).
- Adaptability: Comfortable switching context between different types of projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Foundational certifications such as PSM I, CSM, or CAPM.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience in GEEK Up's focus domains (BFSI, Retail, F&B, Education).
- A passion for technology and stay updated with the latest digital product trends.
