JOB BRIEF:

JOB DUTIES:
1. Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee and coordinate licensing matters, such as IRC, ERC and Retail licenses, in collaboration with external legal service providers.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to fire protection, construction permits, and import-export regulations.
2. Contract Management & Negotiation
- Draft, review, and manage business contracts such as procurement, distributor (Modern Trade, Ecommerce), Interco, and supply chain agreements.
- Assess contractual risks, negotiate terms, and provide legal counsel to ensure business objectives align with regulatory requirements.
3. Legal Advisory & Risk Mitigation
- Provide legal guidance on promotional programs, in-store rentals, and sales initiatives to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assess and advise on legal implications of sales models for distributors.
- Coordinate IP protection and ensure proper risk management with HQ.
- Support business plan adjustments by analyzing regulatory risks and requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Handle and resolve consumer complaints related to legal and regulatory issues.
4. Compliance & Corporate Governance
- Prepare and submit quarterly legal reports to the headquarters, ensuring transparency and adherence to corporate governance standards.
- Maintain and update the company's Delegation of Authority (DOA) framework to align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in law; Lawyer Practicing Certificate is compulsory.
- Have at least 8 years of legal experience in manufacturing, commercial, or regulatory law.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to legal operations.
- Proficiency English skills for business and legal communication
