Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Credit Rating Analyst, based in Hanoi. The Credit Rating Analyst will analyze financial statements, assess creditworthiness, participate in the credit rating process, assist in preparing rating reports, and conduct in-depth research on industries and issuer groups. The role requires collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely credit ratings while maintaining compliance with regulatory and methodological standards.

Qualifications

• University or higher degree in economics, finance, banking, accounting, audit, statistics, business administration or professional field in the business lines of credit rating agencies. Graduate/second level degree (Masters, MBA) a bonus
• More than five (5) years working experience in any of the fields: economics, finance, banking, accounting, audit, statistics, business administration or professional field in the business lines of credit rating agencies
• Strong quantitative aptitude and demonstrated analytical ability. Deep understanding of complex transaction structures, with exposure to documentation review
• Articulate and succinct communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English and Vietnamese, with public speaking experience ideal. Previous experience writing research in either an equity or credit market context would be advantageous
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; willingness and ability to adapt and incorporate IT and other tools
• Strong organizational skills with sound judgment and attention to detail
