Assistant Vice President, LOS and Lending Platform, Digital & Technology

The AVP, LOS and Lending Platform will lead technical design and engineering delivery for Digital Lending and Loan Origination System (LOS) platforms. The role ensures scalable architecture, secure implementation, integration quality, platform reliability, and alignment with lending business, risk, compliance, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and delivery for Digital Lending and LOS platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.

• Manage in-house and external engineering teams, providing technical guidance, delivery governance, coaching, and performance oversight.

• Drive solution design across loan origination, product configuration, customer onboarding, credit workflow, document management, approval, disbursement, repayment integration, and post-approval handoff.

• Partner with product owners, lending business, credit risk, operations, compliance, architecture, QA/QC, infrastructure, security, and vendors to translate lending requirements into technical solutions.

• Ensure high-quality integration with Core Banking, credit bureau, eKYC, CRM, payment, notification, document management, data platforms, and downstream reporting systems.

• Oversee sprint planning, estimation, technical design, code review, system integration testing, UAT support, release readiness, deployment planning, and post-implementation stabilization.

• Promote engineering best practices covering API design, secure coding, data protection, logging, monitoring, performance, reliability, and operational resilience.

• Support incident analysis, defect governance, platform optimization, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement of Digital Lending and LOS capabilities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• 8-10 years experience in software development, engineering delivery, or technology management in Banking or Digital Business.

• At least 3 years hands-on experience working with Lending products and Loan Origination platforms.

• Strong understanding of lending lifecycle including origination, customer eligibility, credit assessment, underwriting workflow, approval, disbursement, account booking, repayment, and servicing handoff.

• Familiar with LOS integration with Core Banking, CRM, credit bureau, eKYC, payment, document management, notification, data, and reporting platforms.

• Strong software engineering background in backend, frontend, APIs, microservices, databases, integration patterns, cloud/on-premise platforms, and secure coding practices.

• Experience managing developers, vendors, delivery plans, technical dependencies, code quality, release readiness, and production stabilization.

• Good knowledge of Agile delivery, SDLC, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, configuration management, change control, and release governance.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with technology, lending business, credit risk, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.
