The Assistant to VP/SVP provides critical operational and administrative support to ensure the Vietnam site runs efficiently and that leadership can focus on high-impact technical and strategic priorities.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Assistant to support the VP/SVP of Qualcomm AI Research Vietnam. This role is at the center of daily operations and includes executive support, administrative coordination, hiring logistics, meeting preparation, and creation of high-quality executive presentations.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, reporting, team operations, and facilitating communication across the Vietnam team and global Qualcomm AI Research sites. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, handles sensitive information with discretion, and takes ownership of making the organization run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive & Administrative Support: Manage calendars, scheduling, travel logistics, meeting preparation, and day-to-day administrative tasks for VP/SVP. Prepare agendas, capture action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Operations & Site Coordination: Support daily operations for the AI Research Vietnam site, coordinate team meetings and events, assist with internal communications, and facilitate collaboration with global Qualcomm AI Research teams.
  • Presentation & Documentation: Create high-quality slides, briefs, reports, and executive materials for leadership reviews, demos, and internal updates. Assist with collecting data, structuring content, and building clear narratives.
  • Hiring & Talent Operations: Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, evaluation tracking, onboarding logistics, and internship/residency program support in collaboration with PMs and HR.
  • Project & KPI Tracking: Consolidate weekly updates from PMs and teams, monitor AIR Vietnam KPIs, track open items, and surface risks or delays to leadership. Ensure organizational tasks and priorities stay on track.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Engineering, or related field.
  • 25+ years of experience in administrative roles, operations, PMO support, or executive assistance.
  • Strong skills in scheduling, planning, coordination, and organization.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspace, and presentation tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High integrity and a strong sense of responsibility when handling confidential matters

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working in a technology company or R&D environment.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts in AI/ML, engineering workflows, or product demos.
  • Experience supporting senior executives in a matrixed global organization.
  • Ability to create visually compelling slides and reports for leadership audiences.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.

OR

Associate's degree and 6+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Administrative Assistant or related work experience.

  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
