The Role
At LSG Vietnam, this role will primarily focus on supporting the SVP in various tasks, with an emphasis on Chinese translation and communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of both Chinese and English languages.
What You'll Do
Translation and Interpretation:
- Translate documents, reports, and communications from English to Chinese and vice versa.
- Provide real-time interpretation during meetings and presentations as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Assist the SVP in managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining files.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items from meetings.
Project Coordination:
- Support production and quality projects by coordinating tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
Research and Reporting:
- Conduct research on production and quality trends relevant to the industry, particularly in Chinese markets.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the SVP, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Cross-Cultural Communication:
- Act as a liaison between English-speaking, Chinese-speaking and Vietnamese teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Help bridge cultural differences in business practices and communication styles.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Translation, or a related field
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a production or quality-focused environment.
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation, specifically between English, Chinese and Vietnamese.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Vietnamese.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and translation tools.
