THE COMPANY
Oxalis Adventure is Asia's premier adventure tour operator, providing unparalleled expeditions into the world's largest caves and most remote jungles. Our mission is to blend world-class safety and luxury hospitality with a deep-rooted commitment to environmental conservation and community empowerment. As a 100% locally-owned business, we transform rural lives into professional careers, fostering a sustainable economy in the heart of Vietnam's heritage sites.
THE ROLE: WHY THIS MATTERS
The Assistant to the CEO is not a desk-bound administrative role; it is a high-impact position designed for a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to get their boots muddy. You will act as the CEO's Force Multiplier, bridging the gap between high-level vision and operational reality. From navigating government relations to joining field surveys in the depths of the Tu Lan cave system, you will be instrumental in scaling a world-famous brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategic Operations & Performance Oversight
- Operational Alignment: Act as the CEO's liaison to ensure Marketing, Sales, and Operations departments are aligned with the company's quarterly and annual KPIs.
- Execution Tracking: Monitor the progress of critical directives from the CEO, ensuring Department Heads meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Identify bottlenecks between departments and facilitate rapid problem-solving to maintain operational flow.
2. Business Development & Special Projects
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research on global adventure tourism trends and competitor benchmarks to inform Oxalis's expansion strategy.
- Field Surveys & Exploration: Accompany the CEO on site visits to remote locations, assessing potential for new tour routes or lodging developments.
- Project Incubation: Assist in drafting business proposals, financial estimates, and implementation roadmaps for new ventures within the Oxalis ecosystem.
3. External Relations & Brand Diplomacy
- Government Liaison: Draft official correspondence and support the CEO in high-level engagements with local and central government authorities.
- Stakeholder Hospitality: Represent the CEO in hosting VIP guests, including international film crews, diplomats, and strategic corporate partners.
- Strategic Communication: Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure the CEO's vision is accurately reflected in public-facing brand narratives.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- The Muddy Boots Mentality: You are a professional who thrives in a boardroom but is equally at home in a jungle camp. You lead by example and value operational reality.
- Exceptional Communicator: Native-level fluency in Vietnamese and professional-grade English. You can draft a formal letter to a Ministry and conduct a briefing for a foreign media outlet with equal ease.
- Strategic Organizer: You have a project manager mindset. You don't just find problems; you bring potential solutions to every meeting.
- Diplomatic Grace: You possess the emotional intelligence to navigate complex stakeholder environments, from local contractors to high-profile international partners.
- Sustainability Mindset: A genuine passion for conservation-led tourism and community development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: 3+ years in a similar role (Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or Operations Lead), preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, or International Business.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently between Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Binh, and remote field sites.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
