Take full ownership of all corporate tax matters, including CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT, and other applicable taxes.
Act as a tax advisor to BOD, providing professional opinions on tax risks, compliance matters, and tax implications of business strategies, transactions, and investments.
Prepare, review, and submit tax declarations, reports, and tax finalizations in compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations.
Proactively identify tax risks and opportunities; propose tax planning solutions while ensuring compliance.
Work directly with tax authorities, auditors, and external consultants during tax audits, inspections, and inquiries.
Review contracts, business models, and transactions from a tax perspective; provide advisory support to management.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations; assess impacts and provide timely updates and recommendations to BOD.
Establish, improve, and maintain tax policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and other departments to ensure tax compliance and accurate tax treatment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance.
Experience in Retail industry or Big 4 auditing firms (tax/audit services) is a strong advantage.
Solid practical knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations and hands-on tax compliance.
Good English communication skills, able to work directly and confidently with BOD and external stakeholders.
Independent, proactive, and confident in providing professional tax opinions.
Strong analytical, advisory, and problem-solving skills.
