A. About the Role:
Connecty is an owner's-representative and project-management firm in Ho Chi Minh City. We sit on the client's side of the table and have delivered over 100 premium projects since 2018 for international luxury brands in retail, hospitality, and F&B.
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work directly alongside one of our Project Managers on live interior fit-out projects.
The most expensive mistake in a fit-out is rarely made on site. It is made three weeks earlier, when a revised drawing sits unopened in an inbox and nobody notices until the joinery has been built to the old dimension. Preventing that is this job.
You will own the flow of information across your projects: the drawing register, the design-issue log, the client's weekly report, and the minutes that go out within 24 hours with a name and a date against every action. It is accuracy work, and it decides whether a project lands on a date that cannot move.
B. What You Will Do
- Own the drawing and document register — issues, revisions, transmittals, and distribution to designers, consultants, and contractors. Nobody builds from a superseded revision.
- Run the design-information flow — RFIs, design-issue log, sample and submittal approvals. Every open item carries a named owner and a date.
- Own the client communication rhythm on your projects — agenda before the meeting, minutes within 24 hours, and weekly progress reports issued without being asked.
- Walk the site weekly with the contractor — verify what is built against what was approved, keep the snag and defect log, and maintain the photo record.
- Keep the master programme tracker current and flag slippage while it is still recoverable.
- Build the as-built and O&M handover pack as the project runs, and drive the snag list to zero before handover.
C. What You Need
- 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out, architecture, or interior design, on the delivery and coordination side. Pure design-production experience is not what this role needs.
- A degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- The ability to interrogate a set of fit-out drawings — plans, RCPs, sections, and details — and find the conflict before the contractor does.
- Working English, written and spoken. You will write client emails and minutes and sit in meetings with international brand teams. This is tested at interview, in English.
- A track record of chasing decisions out of people who do not report to you — consultants, contractors, and brand teams. Strong meeting facilitation skills are essential.
- Excel or Google Sheets for live trackers.
- Daily working use of an AI tool. You will be asked to demonstrate one real workflow at interview.
Nice to Have
- Luxury retail, hospitality, or F&B experience with international brands.
- Experience working against brand standards or on a multi-site rollout programme.
- MEP coordination exposure.
- Owner's-representative or PM-consultancy background, as opposed to contractor-side only.
- Strong English.

- VND 18,000,000 – 25,000,000 gross/month, set on demonstrated evidence rather than years served.
- Salary reviewed at 6 months and again at 12 months — not once a year.

- Probation: 60 days at no less than 85% of full salary, against written pass/fail criteria handed to you on day one.
