Job Description
- Able to select, train, motivate and retain staff to achieve high levels of performance;
- Driving a systematic process and evaluating customer demand, ensuring a feasible operational plan and driving continuous improvement in key materials metrics, such as OTD, MPS performance, FG / WIP inventory and Hub level
- Versed in production planning and material control processes in manufacturing;
- Drive process improvements in production planning and material control which lead to improve OnTime Delivery (OTD) and material kitting rates;
- Ensuring that the appropriate Master Schedule is always loaded that meets the customer requirements and minimizes company liability.
- Drive capacity planning by tag time process in production capacity planning processes as they related to manufacturing;
- Manage the order intake control per capacity planning, firmed order against demand forecast and its variance analysis, production order schedule and its delivery performance
- Manage the demand against capacity planning, material kitting planning, manufacturing order planning, RMA and ECO processes as they relate to manufacturing;
- Where necessary roll their sleeves up to get stuck into detail and lead by example.
Qualifications
