Job Description

We are opening for both Assistant Manager and Executive levels. The appropriate level will be determined based on the candidate's experience.

1/ Merchandising Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Collaborate with Vietnam/PRC plants, outsource suppliers, global product design / engineering team and Asian product team to plan, implement and manage new product development program from initial stage to mass production

• Communication with OEM customer, update order list for internal and external use

• Collaborate with the team in Hong Kong and China for the move of production from PRC to VN for selective products

• Work with the team to consolidate monthly sales & forecast

• Cooperate with operation teams to monitor order and production status and resolve supply issues

• Kick-off new projects with engineering and support teams to create project development plans

• Create and manage project documents to keep all project stakeholders on the same page

• Work with QA team to handle customer complaint

• Work out the quotation for potential projects. Support financial analysis and commercial justification of new projects

• Arrange samples to customers timely and report the status weekly

• Gather and summarize project information from various sources and make it into a presentable format

• Perform other ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job requirement

Education

Bachelor's Degree or above in Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines

Experience

3 years relevant experience in product development / project management in manufacturing industry

Knowledge

Hands-on experience in MS Office, ERP system

Functional Skills

Experience in Power Tools (including Battery Packs & Chargers), Hand Tools or Construction Trades (including Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Plumbing) is a plus

Other Abilities

Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure Strong communication skills, easy to build relationships Positive mindset Proficiency in spoken and written English. Working knowledge of Mandarin/ Cantonese or German is a big plus

2/Assistant Merchandising Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Work closely with regional Product Management teams (North America, Europe, Australia) and Development teams (Hong Kong, China, Vietnam) to support customer business objectives.

This includes New Product Development (NPD), management of ongoing product lines, and cost improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES

1. New Product Development (NPD)

  • Conduct new product opportunity assessments and benchmarking activities
  • Prepare product cost estimations and quotations
  • Perform financial analysis and commercial justification for new projects
  • Track and manage project costs and timelines
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Present project status updates to management

2. General Account Management

  • Support account management and provide reporting to overseas business units
  • Coordinate with internal departments on daily product, supply chain, and order processing matters
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve quality-related issues
  • Support systems and database maintenance

3. Ongoing Product Line Management

  • Initiate and manage Cost Improvement Projects (CIP)
  • Handle customer requests including quotations, order placement, and development of promotional products
  • Support business improvement and supply chain management initiatives

4. Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned
  • Report to and support the Senior Manager of Business Development in daily operations in Vietnam, including process development and customer visits

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related disciplines

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing (consumer products or electronics)
  • Strong understanding of factory operations

Knowledge

  • Good knowledge of finance, accounting, trading, and import/export activities
  • Experience working with product development or consumer goods projects

Functional Skills

  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Mandarin (mandatory)
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Abilities

  • Willing to learn, proactive, and a strong team player
  • Well-organized with good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

*Working Location: Tan Phu Trung - Cu Chi. We are providing shuttle bus from HCM, Binh Duong and Dong Nai
