OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The Assistant Marketing Communication Manager supports the Marketing Communication Manager in developing and executing strategic marketing communication initiatives. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external agencies to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across various channels. The ideal candidate will have strong creative and strategic thinking skills, excellent project management abilities, and experience in the gaming or hospitality industry.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing communication strategies aligned with the club's business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with agencies, vendors, and internal clients to create high-quality marketing materials.
  • Support the management of key processes involving agencies, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Assist in managing marketing initiatives, including brand partnerships, social media campaigns, and promotional content.
  • Help develop business requirements and implement solutions to address customer communication and vendor relationship needs.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of the editorial calendar, content, and photography for the club's custom-published magazine.
  • Collaborate on the development and management of the brand's content strategy and asset creation.
  • Oversee brand photography and videography standards, ensuring continuous updating of creative assets.
  • Support the execution of club events, promotions, and direct marketing offers to club members.
  • Assist in developing and implementing database marketing strategies to ensure effective program results.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and enhance customer loyalty programs, events, and promotions.
  • Coordinate details and execution of all events and promotions with related departments.
  • Evaluate the performance of all marketing events and promotions to ensure reinvestment rates are maintained and profit margins are acceptable.
  • Assist in creating innovative marketing plans and materials to enhance the club's brand presence.
  • Ensure all marketing communications integration, including look and feel, messaging, timing, and sequencing.
  • Facilitate and drive tactical and strategic marketing communication initiatives, prioritizing agency resources as necessary.
  • Other tasks as assigned by Manager.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Marketing Strategy Support

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing communication strategies, ensure alignment with the club's business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Support in defining target audiences and tailoring messaging, effectively reach and resonate with each segment.

Campaign Management

  • Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, coordinate campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and agencies, develop marketing materials and promotional content.

Digital and Social Media Management

  • Support digital marketing efforts, assist in managing website, advertising, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Help manage social media channels, develop content calendars and monitor engagement metrics.

Public Relations Support

  • Cultivate relationships with media contacts, secure press coverage and positive media exposure.
  • Assist in drafting press releases and handling media inquiries

Event and Promotion Coordination

  • Coordinate promotional activities for club events, ensure effective promotion, ticket sales, and guest engagement.
  • Evaluate performance of marketing events and promotions

Brand Management

  • Support brand identity through marketing communication efforts, ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity.
  • Oversee brand photography and videography standards

Budget and Performance Analysis

  • Assist in managing marketing budgets, track expenses and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports, evaluate effectiveness and inform decision-making.

Compliance and Regulatory Support

  • Ensure marketing communication activities comply with regulations, stay informed about industry regulations and legal changes.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing communication roles, preferably within the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, content management systems, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and ability to drive results through innovative campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and marketing analytics tools.
