YOUR MISSION:

  • Works directly under the Senior Manager Social Sustainability and is responsible for driving social compliance and human rights initiatives across assigned suppliers. The role manages audit programs, supplier engagement/training, grievance handling, and data-driven performance tracking to support continuous improvement in alignment with PUMA sustainability standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Oversees a portfolio of suppliers across multiple tiers within the assigned region, primarily in Vietnam and potentially extending to the broader region depending on business needs. It works closely with sourcing teams, external auditors, and suppliers, and supports the implementation of global sustainability frameworks such as SLCP, ILO Better Work, and the Fair Labor Association
  • Supplier Engagement & Capability Building: Plan and execute supplier engagement and capability-building initiatives, such as supplier meetings and training programs, to enhance suppliers understanding and implementation of the PUMA Code of Conduct and Sustainability standards
  • Audit and Compliance Management: Conduct the on-site factory visits/audits and evaluate the effectiveness of Corrective Action Plan implementation. Manage 3rd party social audit processes across assigned regions, including planning, coordination, review of audit findings and follow-up on corrective action plans (CAPs). Review and convert assessment reports from e.g: ILO Better Work, SLCP reports according to PUMA requirements and internal standards. Work collaboratively with factory management to address compliance issues, identify root causes, implement sustainable remediation actions, and monitor progress to ensure continuous improvement in alignment with PUMA standards and local laws.
  • Ensure timely and accurate tracking of audit results, validity in internal systems, in accordance with internal SOPs. Provide clear insights, communicate key findings, risks and progress update to relevant stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, internal teams)
  • Social KPI Data Collection and Management : Collect, validate and analyze Social Sustainability KPIs across assigned suppliers to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Identify the trends, recurring issues, and key gaps to generate actionable insights and support continuous improvement initiatives and achieve PUMA Sustainability targets
  • Support internal reporting and contribute to data-driven decision making by providing clear analysis and recommendations to relevant stakeholders
  • Grievance Mechanism Handling and Management: Manage and follow up on worker grievances received through internal and external channels, ensuring timely and appropriate investigation and resolution. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and 3rd party grievance platforms to ensure smooth implementation, effective handling the cases while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity. Track grievance cases and analyze trends to identify systemic issues and support preventive actions
  • Reporting & Team Contribution: Prepare and deliver regular reports on activities, compliance status, and key updates to ensure team visibility and alignment. Support team and contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainability processes, standards, tools, SOPs and handbooks.

YOUR TALENT:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred (covering the area of expertise required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social compliance, sustainability, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience working with supplier factories and audit processes. Familiarity with social compliance standards such as SLCP, ILO Better Work, FLA, or equivalent
  • Experience in apparel, footwear, or manufacturing industry is preferred
  • Experience working with global brands or regional supply chains is an advantage
  • Strong background in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS). Exposure to data analysis or reporting tools such as advanced Excel or Power BI
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Good stakeholder coordination and engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulations and local labor law in Vietnam
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
