Assistant Manager, IT Application

Overview

As an Assistant Manager of IT Application Support, your primary focus will be on application development and supporting our Core Banking System (Silver Lake). You will also play a key role as a project coordinator, ensuring that business applications run smoothly, securely, and meet planned project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications utilizing C#, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Android/iOS, with basic development in Python and PowerBI.
• Support the Core Banking System (SIBS) and other operational systems, including the Loan Approval Workflow (LAW), MIS reports, CITAD, and NAPAS.
• Analyze user requirements, process them into technical specifications, and assist in documenting technical manuals and user guides.
• Act as a project coordinator, liaising with project managers and business users to ensure successful and timely implementations.
• Prepare, conduct, and review system testing (SIT, UAT) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide direct production support for operational problems encountered by end-users.
• Build appropriate controls into business software to ensure security, stability, and reliability.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For

• Recognized Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in application development using Java Jre, C#, VB, Python, JavaScript, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and PowerBI.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the development and support of banking system applications.
• Proficiency in both Linux OS and Windows, along with experience in open-source software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and troubleshoot creatively.
• Experience in leading a banking system support team or knowledge of AI is considered a strong advantage.
