Job Description

1. Job Purpose / Position Summary

The Assistant Investment Manager supports investment analysis, real estate M&A activities, asset management oversight, and project performance monitoring. The role contributes to dealing evaluation, financial modelling, market research, and cross-functional coordination to ensure effective investment decisions and successful asset development.

 

A. Investment

  • Get involved in real estate M&A (residential, office, and mixed-use) including deal evaluation, due diligence, structure and condition precedents, drafting binding agreements, and deal closing.
  • Perform feasibility studies, cashflow projections and other financial indicators.
  • Support preparing comprehensive business plans, decks, and approval papers for Board approval.
  • Support stakeholder management including vendors, partners, investors, and financial institutions.
  • Perform market research, macro updates, law and regulation updates, and other related reports.
  • Conduct other investment-related tasks as required.

B. Asset Management

  • Support managing the company's assets/projects under development (residential, office, and mixed-use), including monitoring project timeline, legal processes, budgets, and project development matters.
  • Set up, control, and monitor key performance indicators for respective departments during project planning, development, and operation.
  • Handle other tasks related to asset management as required.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA (REQUIREMENTS)

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good attitude, strategic thinker, strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven, able to work under pressure.
  • Basic understanding of the real estate market and legal procedures for real estate development in Vietnam.
  • Having or pursuing CFA, CAIA, ACCA, or other valuation certificates is considered a plus.
