Assistant Manager Finance

The Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting is responsible for maintaining effective accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with Vietnam Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and company policies. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing, tax compliance, and financial analysis to drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and quarterly closing activities and prepare annual financial statements.
• Perform financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insights to support management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with VAS, local tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and regulatory reporting processes.
• Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and cash flow management.
• Act as the key contact for internal and external audits, ensuring strong governance and compliance.
• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial estimates.
• Lead ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• At least 3 years of experience in internal controls and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of VAS and Vietnam tax regulations (VAT, CIT, PIT, FCT).
• Chief Accountant Certificate is required.
• Experience in P&L analysis and financial reporting to management.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
