Job Description

Overview:

The Assistant Manager ,Credit Administration is responsible for the Credit Administration of Business Corporate Banking (90%) and supporting Trade Services and Personal Financial Services (10%). You will manage loan documentation, serve as a joint custodian for security documents, and ensure strict adherence to the Bank's policies and statutory provisions.

Responsibilities

Credit Administration & Asset Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between the Hanoi Branch and other lines of business to maintain effective working relationships and ensure quality customer service.
  • Monitor notarization procedures, registration of security transactions, and the import/export of security assets in compliance with bank procedures.
  • Serve as the joint custodian for the safe keeping of original loans and security documents at the Hanoi Branch.
  • Monitor loans due for interest rate revision and ensure the renewal of insurance for collaterals.

Loan Documentation & System Processing

  • Prepare and control loan documentation for Business Corporate Banking, ensuring compliance with credit policies and legal regulations before disbursement.
  • Set up and control approved limits in the system, acting as the system inputter or maker for loan documents.
  • Act as the authorized signatory to formalize credit papers and affix the branch stamp upon credit approval or transaction completion.
  • Facilitate the flow of original documents for Trade Services (including Bank Guarantee) and Personal Financial Services to the Head Office for centralized processing.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university, majoring in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in wholesale lending or credit operational processes.
  • Solid understanding of credit regulations, legal guidelines, and lending systems; experience with the Silver Lake Core Banking system is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Trade and Receivable Finance or Bank Guarantees is a plus.
  • Effective written and alternative communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with credit data.
