Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in leading a team of analysts in providing analytical and reporting support to the organization.
- Analyze casino performance to enhance gaming optimization and improve gaming operational efficiency.
- Perform analysis of casino business segments to identify business opportunities and provide insights.
- Work closely with IT team to familiarize oneself with data dictionaries for proper and accurate data-mapping initiatives for Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) development.
- Understand and advise on business related systems and processes, gaming and non-gaming, to ensure accurate capture of data for subsequent analytical purposes.
- Support gaming and non-gaming marketing functions in providing insights into the design of programs, promotions and events which will drive visitation and revenue.
- Perform pre and post campaign analysis for gaming and non-gaming marketing programs, promotions, events and initiatives, to ensure effectiveness of marketing reinvestment.
- Track and measure casino sales team member performance against company's targets and provide casino sales performance reports for management review.
- Assist in development of sales key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales incentive schemes.
- Assist management in return-on-investment and financial projection analysis for new company projects.
- Measure different business units performance against management determined KPIs.
- Provide business units with reporting support for regulatory submissions to authorities.
- Other miscellaneous projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience in analytical roles in casino industry.
- Working knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, Python, etc.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
