Job Description

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Do house round check and meet all in-house guests.
  • Ensures that guest received special personalized service.
  • Greets all arrivals and says goodbye all departures do first and last impression.
  • Check-in and check-out and escorts VIPs to room.
  • Control the team effectively.
  • Updates logbook with full detailed and correct information and follow-ups.
  • Records all incidents happened in the Supervisor's logbook during duty shift for Management information.
  • Supervises and participates in all activities related to the process of rooming guest.
  • Ensure that all guests receive a warm and courteous welcome upon check-in.
  • Supervises and coordinates room assignment with concerned Reception sections and other Departments.
  • Ensure that all guests are advised of their room numbers and room rates.
  • Promotes hotel facilities efficiently and train staff how to sell and serve properly.
  • Handle complaints with immediate action and thorough follow up and train staff how to solve.
  • Ensure that information is passed to every one accurate and clear.
  • Handles guest needs inquiries and requests promptly
  • Ensure that room status is accurate and checked before guest arriving
  • Make necessary arrangements for group check-in.
  • Provides input for departmental meetings.
  • Maintains and controls usage of stationary, paper...etc. as well as to reduce cost and expensive.
  • Acts as sales person in order to maximize room revenue and MOD's revenue (Minor Operated Department).
  • Identifies departmental training needs and conducts training.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
  • Arrange the cars for airport pick up and transfer as requested and make sure that not waste of money and timing.
  • Check weekly report for long staying guests, establishes and maintains contact with guest as well as to check the next days of arrivals whether for any special treatments offered for VIPs, repeated guest, honeymooners, birthday guest...etc.
  • Complies with hotels health, safety and hygiene.
  • Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Well-groomed, neat and tidy at work.
  • Strictly comply the Hotel regulation and Employee Handbook.
  • Implement Department Head's instruction and assignment.
  • Follow communication lines and report lines.
  • Maintain standards of service quality and performance standards.
  • Believe in teamwork, cooperate with colleagues.
  • Any additional tasks requested by his/ her HOD

*REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 years experience in the same position in 5* hotel
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Preferably prior knowledge of Opera PMS system
  • College or Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
