Brief
Oversee Front Office operations, ensuring service quality, efficiency, safety, and staff professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Represent the hotel's image and maintain a professional attitude both during and outside of working hours.
- Assist in the daily management of the Front Office department, ensuring compliance with service standards.
- Manage expenses and optimize revenue through room and service sales.
- Monitor and analyze operational results and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure proper implementation of check-in, check-out, reservations, guest requests, and complaint handling procedures.
- Supervise, train, and assign tasks to staff; inspect the quality of work performed.
- Build good relationships with colleagues and all hotel staff.
- Consistently support, encourage, motivate, and assist team members.
- Oversee compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), rehabilitation, and environmental protection regulations.
- Report and handle hazardous situations; review work processes to improve safety.
- Coordinate with departments and contractors to promote the implementation of OH&S, EEO, rehabilitation, and environmental policies.
- Ensure cleanliness, workplace safety, and proper conduct standards among staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience handling all functions of the Front Office department.
- Ability to work in a computer-based environment and handle multitasking effectively.
- Language: Proficient in English (both spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to review, evaluate, and make reasonable business decisions when solving problems.
- Good presentation skills.
