I will deliver Out of the Ordinary performance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and strategic insight that support sustainable business growth. By combining rigorous financial management, proactive analysis, integrity, and attention to detail, every financial decision will contribute to stronger performance, smarter planning, and long-term organizational success.
Operational Ownership
I assume full responsibility for the efficient and profitable operation of the Finance department in accordance with Six Senses brand standards and approved budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with hotel accounting standards, brand policies, and statutory requirements
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Support year-end closing, audits, and statutory reporting
Oversee and review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets
- Monitor daily revenue postings, night audit reports, and income audit accuracy
- Support cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and treasury controls
- Ensure proper controls over cash handling, petty cash, and banking procedures
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections
- Monitor departmental costs and highlight cost control opportunities
- Support purchasing and inventory controls in line with hotel policies
Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and segregation of duties
Responsible Business & Compliance
All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
Accountability & Leadership Presence
I am a visible, hands-on, and strategic leader with strong organizational and decision-making capabilities. I drive results across guest satisfaction, host engagement, operational excellence, revenue growth, and profitability, while strengthening the property's market positioning.
Skills & Experience
The role requires:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Three or more years of progressive accounting managerial experience.
- International resort or hotel experienced is preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
- Microsoft Office application literacy, cross-cultural work environments exposure, critical problem analysis/resolution skills.
- Knowledge and experience in the purchasing and productions process and is equally versed in GAAP for hospitality.
- English with ability to communicate clearly.
- Knowledge as well as abilities in other languages would be beneficial.
- Heavy lifting of materials up to 22kgs may be required.
I maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses brand standards, operational guidelines, and service philosophy.
