Job Description

Working Location: Nexus Building, Sai Gon Ward, HCMC

Job Purpose

As the Demand Planning Assistant Manager, you will orchestrate the end-to-end demand signal for your division. You are responsible for building high-accuracy turnover projections and ensuring optimal service levels. Your role is a strategic bridge between Sales, Marketing, and Finance, directly impacting the economic performance and agility of our Business Units in an Omnichannel (O+O) environment.

Key Job Accountabilities

Demand Forecasting & O+O Strategy

  • Lead the Omnichannel (Online + Offline) demand planning process to ensure forecast quality and stock health.
  • Develop robust baseline forecasts using statistical modeling and system data, enriching them with documented business assumptions.
  • Manage the complexities of E-commerce volatility, promotional peaks (Double Days, Payday), and offline retail seasonality.

S&OP Facilitation & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle: proactively challenge promotional plans and new launch animations from Sales and Marketing.
  • Construct granular constrained and unconstrained forecasts, ensuring alignment with Trend and Budgetary targets.
  • Achieve consensus with Business Unit leaders and ensure data integrity across all planning systems within defined deadlines.

Upstream Coordination & Supply Integration

  • Partner closely with Market Supply Planners to synchronize demand signals with supply capabilities, focusing on new launches, discontinuations, and risk mitigation for stock-outs.
  • Lead Excess & Obsolete (E&O) reduction strategies to maintain a healthy inventory profile.

Process Excellence & Digital Transformation

  • Drive continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies by implementing Zone best practices and digital tools.
  • Champion the use of Data Analytics (SQL, Power BI) to automate reporting and provide deeper business insights.
  • Conduct cross-functional training to enhance the organization's planning maturity.

People Development

  • Manage and upskill 01 direct report, fostering a culture of excellence, data-driven decision-making, and career growth.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • Core KPIs: Sales Forecast Accuracy (SFA), Forecast Bias, Inventory Level (Days of Inventory), Service Level (FR), and E&O (Excess & Obsolete) management.
  • Probation Success (6 Months):
    • Full mastery of the LDB Demand Planning & FM (Flow Management) process.
    • Ability to independently lead S&OP meetings and provide strategic challenge to stakeholders.
    • Comprehensive ownership of all DP working files and automated Dashboard reporting.
Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain, preferably within the FMCG or Beauty industry.
  • Domain Knowledge: Proven experience in E-commerce planning and working within an international/multicultural matrix environment.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Data Proficiency: Expert level in Excel; proficiency in SQL and Power BI is highly preferred.
  • Systems: Experience with planning software (e.g., SAP, FuturMaster, or similar).
