Job Description

Purpose

As the UPro Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the brand. This position requires a deep understanding of operator behavior, market dynamics, and innovation processes to ensure UPro's sustained growth and relevance. You will lead cross-functional initiatives across brand strategy, portfolio management, DCom development, and demand generation.

Job Description

  • Operator understanding & insight mining:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to define and profile key operator segments, including their needs, motivations, behaviors, triggers and barriers to adoption.
  • Translate operator insights into actionable strategies of brand positioning, communication, and commercial plans.
  • Develop and refine strategic frameworks that enable UPro to effectively engage and win with target operators across diverse channels (Horeca, Laundry & Offices).
  • Brand building & Demand Generation
  • Craft and execute a compelling brand strategy for the UPro master brand, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Design and implement integrated online-to-offline (O2O) demand creation initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of demand generation activities, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
  • Portfolio Management & Innovation development:
  • Design and manage the UPro product portfolio based on operator insights, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end innovation process, including ideation, concept development, validation, and commercialization.
  • Collaborate with both local and global teams to ensure alignment and leverage best practices in innovation and product development.
  • DCom exploration & development:
  • Develop and implement a robust digital commerce model tailored to UPro's brand and business goals.
  • Define the operational and financial structure of the DCom model, including investment planning, P&L management, product assortment strategy, and media performance optimization.

Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge & proven applying of brand building/ brand development
  • Solid experience of ABM role in FMCG, esp in execution/ operational tasks/ project management skills
  • Entrepreneurship & agile mindset
  • Basic channel understanding, working with trade/ sales team experience
