Position: Asset Management Engineer (Driving Asset Performance with a Commercial Mindset)
Location: GYVN - Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
Report to: Project Asset Manager
Job Description:
1/ Contract and Customer management
- Develop and improve the relationship with our clients.
- Provide clarification and guidance to the clients on the contract, ensuring alignment on its interpretation and application.
- Lead the discussion and negotiation with the clients.
- Make sure the Assets are delivering the expected financial performance.
- Be the focal point of the clients inside the GY organization.
2/ System Monitoring and Operation for Solar, EE System, and BESS
- Monitoring & Operation: Monitor and operate our assets to make sure they reach the technical performance; detect, log, and coordinate with relevant teams and contractors to troubleshoot and rectify faults; ensure stable system operation and data completeness.
- Identify and report system issues; coordinate with maintenance engineers to analyze and resolve them.
- Internal Reporting: Prepare reports on energy yield, system performance, irradiance, load consumption, and other related indicators.
3/ Other Tasks
- Prepare operational reports and perform other related tasks as required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Technical field (Electrical is preferred but not mandatory)
Experience:
- At least 3 -5 years of professional experience in customer interface in the technical industry.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of electricity and solar energy is an advantage
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Computer skills, especially MS Excel, are required.
- Ability to manage tasks and time effectively.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good command of English.
- Able to work independently.
