Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Support the Head of Investment & Treasury in organizing and operating Asset-Liability Management (ALM) to ensure effective management of the company's balance sheet, liquidity, interest rate risk, and capital planning in alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Balance Sheet & ALM Management

- Analyze and forecast liquidity ratios and interest rate risk (IRRBB) on the insurance book; recommend actions to maintain compliance with internal and regulatory limits.

- Develop scenarios and propose targeted balance sheet structures and surplus fund strategies to support product profitability and solvency.

- Conduct forecasting and scenario analysis of balance sheet positions; assess IRRBB and recommend asset allocation by customer segment and product line to optimize Net Investment Income (NII).

- Manage interest rate gaps on the insurance book in coordination with Investment, Funding & Liquidity teams; propose adjustments to optimize NII and ensure solvency.

- Collaborate with Risk Management to set internal limits for liquidity and interest rate risk; develop stress scenarios for ALM under adverse market conditions.

Formulate and update ALM policies and propose medium- and long-term capital mobilization plans to support growth and regulatory capital requirements.

2. Policy Management & Internal Transfer Pricing (FTP)

- Develop and implement Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) policies for insurance products to manage portfolio composition and liquidity structure.

- Recommend FTP rates for new products and adjust rates in line with strategic objectives and profitability targets.

3. Capital Management

- Plan and manage capital supply and demand; monitor solvency ratios and ensure compliance with insurance regulatory frameworks (e.g., RBC, IFRS 17).

- Prepare contingency capital plans and develop investment policies to optimize NII while managing liquidity and interest rate risks.

4. Product Pricing Framework

- Develop, review, and update pricing policy frameworks for insurance products.

- Monitor implementation and recommend adjustments to pricing mechanisms to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

5. Report Management

- Prepare reports on balance sheet structure, asset allocation efficiency, and capital adequacy; provide timely analysis and recommendations.

- Coordinate with business units for resource allocation and effective balance sheet management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE

- University or higher; trained in finance, economics or math. Preference will be given to those with an accounting certificate, master's degree or MBA

- Having 08 years of experience: Preference will be given to those with more than 7 years of experience in the insurance sector; have at least 5 years of intensive experience in the field of capital transfer, liquidity risk management, interest rate risk. Capable of identifying and communicating complex risks associated with Benefits v costs and balance sheets.

- English: minimum TOEIC 700 or equivalent
