Part-Time Mentor ASIC Design & Physical Design (Vietnam Only)

Are you passionate about guiding the next generation of chip design engineers

Join us as a Part-Time Mentor and use your industry expertise in ASIC Design, Verification, or Physical Design to make a real impact with the flexibility to contribute on your schedule.

We are building a strong learning ecosystem for Vietnamese engineers and are looking for experienced professionals based in Vietnam who love teaching and mentoring.

Role Overview

Job Title:ASIC Design & Verification Mentor / Physical Design Mentor

Employment Type: Part-time

Industry: Education Administration Programs

Location: Vietnam (Remote-friendly)

Experience Required:3+ years onwards

Learners: Vietnamese

What You'll Do (Mentor Responsibilities)

  • Mentor learners on digital ASIC design fundamentals, best practices, and real-world workflows
  • Guide learners through RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog, coding techniques, and debugging
  • Support understanding of verification methodologies (UVM) and testbench development
  • For backend-focused mentors, guide Physical Design flow.
  • Share industry insightstools, flows, common pitfalls, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Help learners build confidence in ASIC design, verification, and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with our internal team to continuously improve the learning experience

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong hands-on experience in ASIC design flow
  • Proficiency in Verilog / SystemVerilog
  • Experience with UVM-based verification
  • Hands-on exposure to Physical Design (Cadence Innovus preferred)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing considerations in ASIC design
  • Experience with Cadence / Synopsys tools
  • Patience, clear communication, and a genuine passion for teaching
  • Ability to commit a few flexible hours per week
