About The Role
This is a hands-on creative role for someone with strong design craft and the ability to turn ideas into work that feels considered, cohesive, and well made. You'll design across campaigns, social, digital, and brand work — working from creative direction while bringing your own ideas, judgment, and point of view to the work.
You'll work closely with senior creative leads to develop ideas, explore how they can come to life, and carry that thinking through from the first mood board to the final pixel.
It's a role that values both sides of the craft: having the eye to see where the work could go, and the skills to actually take it there.
What You'll Do
- Turn briefs into concepts, visual approaches, and polished creative across paid social, display, landing pages, and campaign touchpoints.
- Develop digital visuals, layouts, and design systems that can scale across formats and asset variations.
- Provide art direction to designers, motion designers, or production partners when a concept needs to scale beyond your own execution.
- Review creative for visual consistency and craft, helping ensure the original idea survives all the way to the final asset.
- Adapt global brand guidelines without making every execution feel like it came from the same template.
- Use performance insights and A/B testing hypotheses to make creative variations that are meaningfully different, not just different for the sake of it.
- Collaborate asynchronously with our U.S. team, communicating your creative choices and turning feedback into stronger work.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in digital design, advertising, or a similar creative role. Agency experience preferred.
- A portfolio with strong design craft and signs of creative thinking beyond execution.
- Excellent typography, composition, hierarchy, and attention to detail.
- Strong visual judgment and the ability to develop an idea beyond the first reference or obvious solution.
- Comfortable owning your work from brief → concept → design → final execution.
- Fast, resourceful, and self-sufficient without sacrificing quality.
- Able to give clear, useful creative feedback when collaborating with other designers or production partners.
- Reads feedback for the problem behind the comment, rather than treating comments as a checklist.
- Understands the product, audience, and objective behind the work. Pretty is good. Pretty with a reason is better.
- Expert in Figma with strong proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong written English for asynchronous collaboration with a U.S.-based team.
Why Pixel
- Top-of-market compensation for Creative in Vietnam.
- Work directly on global campaigns for international brands, with the opportunity to own your work from idea through execution.
- Small team, high trust, and plenty of room to grow your art direction skills while staying close to the craft.
