RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the overall art style for game projects, ensuring visual consistency across concept, UI, animation, and other art elements.
- Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Producers, and Developers to build a visual identity aligned with gameplay direction and target audience.
- Directly review, guide, and provide creative direction to the art team (Character, Environment, UI/UX, Animation, VFX, etc.) throughout development.
- Participate in the concept art phase: sketching characters, environments, props, mood boards, and establishing the overall tone and color palette.
- Evaluate and ensure the visual quality and artistic consistency across all stages of production.
- Provide creative and technically feasible solutions to optimize performance and enhance the game's visual quality.
- Mentor and train Junior/Mid-level Artists, supporting their professional growth within the team.
- Ensure all marketing and promotional materials align with the game's artistic direction.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in Game Art, with previous experience as a Lead Artist or Art Director.
- Strong leadership and inspirational skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and deliver constructive feedback.
- Proficient in art and design tools such as Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Blender, Maya, or equivalent 2D/3D software.
- Experience in UI/UX design, Game Concept Art, Art Style development, and a solid understanding of the game production pipeline.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across multiple styles: Semi-realistic, Cartoon, Anime, Stylized, etc.
- Open-minded, eager to learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and workflows.
- Highly responsible, able to work under pressure, passionate about art, and enthusiastic about the game industry.
- Prefer candidates with experience working on PC/Mobile games or international projects.
