Aquaculture Technician
The leading agriculture consulting firm in Southeast Asia is looking for an Aquaculture Technician
Fresh Studio is the leading agriculture/ aquaculture consultancy and R&D firm in Southeast Asia. Our mission is to make our clients successful in the sustainable production and marketing of food. Responsibilities
To complete our Aquaculture and Fisheries team in Vietnam, we are looking for a professional
AquacultureNight Shift Technician.
This position is primarily held responsible for assisting with operations at our RAS R&D farm in Can Tho as follows:
Additional tasks may occur from time to time.
Desired qualifications and skills: our ideal candidate
Experience
- At least one year in aquaculture, ideally with experience in a commercial aquaculture setting such as a hatchery or fish farm.
- Familiar with fish or shrimp hatchery and nursery operations
Special Skills Required
- Ability to work independently
- Troubleshooting and diagnosis of issues
- Maintainence and repair of Life Support Systems (LSS) including pumps, filters, air blowers etc
Education
- Vocational or college degree in aquaculture, biology, or related field.
- Prior experience in aquaculture or fish farming preferred.
Language
- Vietnamese
- Basic English is desirable
