You Are:
As an Applications Engineer, you will play a critical role in enabling customers to successfully adopt and maximize the value of Synopsys EDA technologies. You will collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver technical expertise, training, and innovative solutions that drive design success and operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
- Customer Engagement: Partner with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver tailored solutions using Synopsys EDA tools.
- Technical Support: Provide expert-level support for back-end design flows, including Synthesis, Place and Route, and Sign-off, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across hardware, software, and workflows.
- Training & Enablement: Lead customer and internal training sessions, workshops, and seminars to ensure effective adoption of Synopsys technologies.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Develop and maintain technical documentation, application notes, and best practice guides to support customer success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Product Management teams to communicate customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
- Pre-Sales Support: Assist in pre-sales activities by demonstrating product capabilities and delivering compelling technical presentations.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and efficiency gains within customer environments.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with tape-out project execution.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor design and EDA workflows.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
