1. Job PurposeThe API Supply Executive is responsible for operating and maintaining Rovi Travel's hotel distribution system, ensuring that hotel contracts, prices, allotments, and room mappings are uploaded accurately and synchronized correctly with API customers and partners. This role acts as the primary point of contact between API clients, external partners, and the internal technology team.
2. Key Responsibilities2.1. API Supply & Data Management- Upload and manage hotel contracts within Rovi Travel's hotel distribution system.
- Perform accurate hotel, room type, rate plan, and policy mapping between:
- Rovi Travel internal systems
- API customers and B2B distribution partners
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of:
- Hotel information (name, address, star rating)
- Room types and amenities
- Pricing, allotments, stop-sell rules, and stay restrictions
2.2. API Partner & Client Support- Serve as the main point of contact for API customers and distribution partners.
- Investigate and resolve API-related issues, including:
- Price mismatches
- Room mapping errors
- Availability and allotment discrepancies
- Booking and confirmation issues
- Provide clear explanations of data logic and system behavior to partners and clients.
2.3. Internal Technology Coordination- Act as a bridge between Supply / Operations and Technology / Product teams.
- Clearly document and communicate:
- System issues
- Error logs
- Business requirements and use cases
- Perform testing and validation after bug fixes, system updates, or API enhancements.
2.4. Data Quality Control & Optimization- Conduct regular audits of:
- Prices and rate plans
- Allotments and availability
- Hotel and room mappings
- Proactively identify risks such as:
- Price inconsistencies
- Incorrect mappings
- Data synchronization failures
- Suggest improvements to:
- Contract upload workflows
- Mapping standards
- API supply operations efficiency
3. Job Requirements3.1. Experience & Knowledge- 23 years of experience in:
- OTA / Travel Technology
- Hotel Contracting, Supply, or Operations
- Solid understanding of:
- Hotel distribution systems
- API-based integrations
- Rate plans, allotments, stop-sell rules, and cancellation policies
- Experience working with:
- OTAs, wholesalers, channel managers, or API partners is a plus.
3.2. Skills- Strong analytical and system-thinking skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with:
- Technical teams
- API clients and external partners
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under operational pressure
- Proficiency in:
- Excel / Google Sheets
- Data and contract management systems
3.3. Language- Good English speaking, reading and writing skills, capable of working with technical documentation and international partners.
