Job Description
APAC logistics & WH Supervision:
- Initiate the projects to simplify/ improve/ change the operations of logistics & Warehouse towards
the direction of Continuous Excellence and cost savings.
- Co-ordinate with concerned parties to analysis and set the action plans in terms of Logistics
Warehouse operations issues
- Logistics WH Cost & lead-time, duty analysis across the APAC countries
- Conduct monthly review with APAC countries
- Involve with countries leader to implementation logistics & warehouse bidding for all ASIA countries
- Initiate and lead team to work with carriers and NVOCC to manage bookings, analysis and set the
action plans to resolve local issues. Escalate issues or concerns before they become a late shipment.
Notify planners when shipments will be late due to containers, capacity, rollovers, etc.
- Provide weekly tracking on all container booking requests, SO's and ship dates (Plants and Suppliers)
- Be the point of communication for Asia-wide suppliers and plants on Ocean bookings and
Communications (proactive communications)
- Daily operation management of Grohe Thailand DC 0254
- APAC trade compliance control & Risk Assessment
- Other tasks required by Leader
Job requirements
- Excellent in oral and written English.
- Strong interpersonal communication ability
- Familiar with Microsoft office software and good at Excel
- Open minded & embrace changes, Take challenges
- Logical and systematic approach to work
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions
- International trade experienced
- Experience in international shipping, forwarding companies, NVOOC, etc. is an advantage
- Over 3 years experience in the logistics WH field & at least 1 year in the same position
