Position:
We are looking to hire an Animal Feed and Agri Business Development Manager to drive the growth of Czarnikow's feed, animal nutrition, agri, and food ingredients business in Vietnam.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing both domestic and imported supply chains, including purchasing from local soybean crushers, coordinating imported grain flows, and overseeing warehousing and logistics to ensure efficient and competitive delivery to customers.
They will also lead commercial development and sales for Czarnikow's agri, food, and grain portfolio, building and maintaining strong relationships with protein producers, feed mills, pet food manufacturers, and other key industrial buyers across Vietnam. By integrating Czarnikow's full suite of supply chain services including financing, freight, trucking, and vendor-managed inventory (VMI) the role aims to deliver enhanced value and tailored solutions to our partners.
While the core focus will be on grains, feed ingredients, and animal nutrition products (soybean meal, corn, wheat, DDGS, cassava, and feed additives), the role will also involve supporting other commercial flows and complementary product lines including molasses, sugar, dairy, and coffee, aligning with Czarnikow's broader regional strategy.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grains and feed background to expand into new products and customer segments, while contributing to a growing business focused on delivering value-added supply chain solutions across the agri-food sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales and sourcing relationships with protein producers, feed mills, crushers, pet food companies, and other industrial buyers.
- Develop and optimise both domestic and imported supply chains, including local purchasing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Identify new business opportunities and complementary product lines within the feed, animal nutrition, and agri industries.
- Analyse local and global grains, molasses, cassava, sugar, and feed ingredient markets to support commercial strategy
- Support and coordinate credit, compliance, and operational processes in line with Czarnikow policies
- Liaise with internal teams to obtain competitive freight, finance, and logistics solutions
- Collaborate with regional colleagues to contribute to group trading and business development initiatives
- Support the growth of Czarnikow's sustainability programme (VIVE) within the feed and agri sectors
- Maintain a strong understanding of local market developments, pricing, and regulatory changes.

About You
We are looking for a commercially minded, proactive, and entrepreneurial individual with strong experience in Vietnam's feed, agri, and animal nutrition markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Nutrition, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in grains, feed ingredients, animal nutrition, or agri trading
- Proven experience managing domestic and imported supply chains, including local sourcing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution
- Demonstrated success in sales and business development with feed mills, crushers, protein producers, and pet food companies
- Familiarity with complementary sectors such as molasses, cassava, sugar, dairy, or coffee
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills
- Analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure
- High integrity, professionalism, and collaborative attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
