We are looking for a passionate Android Engineer to join our innovative team in Vietnam. In this role, you will design, develop and test high-quality Android applications across both simulators and real devices. Working in an Agile, multinational environment, you will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver modern and impactful mobile solutions.
You will take full ownership of endtoend feature delivery, from technical design and implementation to release and performance optimization. Your contributions will directly improve code quality, reliability, and application performance. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, fostering growth within the team.
Responsibilities
- Architect features using Jetpack Compose, Navigation, Hilt, Room and WorkManager
- Implement robust networking with Retrofit/OkHttp (interceptors, error handling, retries, caching)
- Drive endtoend test strategy: unit, integration and UI automation; ensure CI gates are green
- Optimize startup time, rendering performance, and memory usage using profilers
- Maintain modularization and Gradle build optimization; improve build times and developer ergonomics
- Implement deep links, app indexing, permission flows and background work
- Own release operations: internal/closed testing and staged rollouts; monitor key metrics
Requirements
- Strong Kotlin skills (Coroutines, Flows, sealed classes) and solid understanding of Clean Architecture and MVI/MVVM patterns
- Experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt or Koin; testing with JUnit, MockK, and Kotest; UI testing with Espresso or Compose Testing
- Proficient in Android App Bundles, Play Console operations and release management
- Expertise in advanced Gradle techniques, build caching and convention plugins
- Experience with analytics and experimentation platforms (Firebase, Amplitude) and featureflag frameworks
- Knowledge of multimodule navigation, dynamic feature modules and instant experiences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English
