About the Role
We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of Android devices.
Responsibilities
- Develop a mobile banking/market application on the Android platform.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other team members to define and deliver high-impact features.
- Ensure code quality and enhance application performance.
- Take ownership of critical issues, debug production problems, and ensure system reliability.
- Maintain high code quality through code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.
- Profile and optimize the app for low-latency execution and smooth UI performance.
- Lead code reviews, define engineering standards, and mentor mid-level developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of professional Android development, with a strong track record of delivering production-grade applications.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Kotlin and deep familiarity with Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with MVVM/MVI Clean architecture.
- Proficient in Jetpack Compose, DI, and Room for local persistence.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and libraries in the Android ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Android APIs, and SDK.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with Jira, Git version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- Good communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated testing (e.g., Appium).
- Experience developing with design layout in Figma.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with a good understanding of iterative development practices.
- Excellent algorithms, analytical, problem-solving skills and improving application performance.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins).
- Practical experience in applying AI tools in daily development activities.
Pay range and compensation package
- Salary: UP TO 35M GROSS.
- Performance review: twice a year.
