Develop and maintain AML/CTF, sanctions, and embargo policies, procedures, and operational guidelines in line with regulatory requirements and business practices.
Manage transaction cases; coordinate cross-functional monitoring and assess trends in recurring suspicious indicators.
Prepare and submit daily AML reports, suspicious transaction reports (STRs), and ad-hoc regulatory reports to VPBank, State Bank of Vietnam and other competent authorities.
Monitor regulatory developments and international best practices; assess gaps against the Bank's AML/CTF framework and recommend remediation actions.
Develop and maintain FATCA compliance policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
2. Risk Compliance:
Lead the implementation and oversight of card scheme compliance requirements for acquiring and issuing activities, in accordance with Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) regulations.
Develop, enhance, and maintain merchant compliance controls and monitoring activities to mitigate losses and operational risks.
Prepare and submit compliance reports in accordance with requirements of international card schemes and the State Bank of Vietnam.
Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 3 years experience in Compliance and AML in banking industry.
Strong knowledge of banking operations and financial regulations; familiarity with VPBank's processes is an advantage.
Strong understanding of compliance requirements of international card schemes and the State Bank of Vietnam, as well as other regulations related to card operations and banking activities.
Strong analytical, information-gathering skills.
Good communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain an effective professional network.
