AI Transformation Lead (English)

THE ROLE

As the AI Transformation Lead, you will be the architect of this transformation. You will define and drive the AI strategy across two critical dimensions:

1. Internal Transformation: Embed AI into every stage of our software delivery lifecycle — from coding and testing to project management and client communication — making our 1,000+ engineers radically more productive.
2. Product Innovation: Lead the evolution of our product suite (CARIS, VALOR, VisionAI) toward AI-first experiences — AI Copilots, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and agentic workflows.
3. This is not a research lab role. You will work at the intersection of strategy, hands-on execution, and organizational change — reporting directly to leadership and partnering with Engineering, Product, and Delivery teams.

Description

AI Strategy & Roadmap

1. Define CLT's 3-year AI transformation roadmap, aligned with business goals across IT outsourcing, product development, and ODC services.
2. Identify the highest-impact AI use cases across the organization and prioritize them using a build-vs-buy-vs-partner framework.
3. Establish AI governance: model selection standards, cost management, data privacy, IP protection, and ethical AI guidelines.

Internal Transformation — AI-Native Engineering

1. Design and roll out AI-assisted development workflows: AI code generation, AI code review, automated testing, and AI-powered debugging for 1,000+ engineers.
2. Drive adoption of AI orchestration platforms (agentic frameworks, multi-agent systems) to automate repetitive engineering tasks.
3. Build internal AI skills/training programs — upskill existing teams, define AI competency frameworks, and create a culture of continuous AI experimentation.
4. Measure and report on productivity gains, quality improvements, and time-to-market acceleration from AI adoption.

Product Innovation — AI-First Products

1. Partner with product teams to define AI features for CARIS (logistics), VALOR (ERP/MES), VisionAI, and SMILE Tracking.
2. Champion the development of AI Copilots, intelligent assistants, and autonomous agents embedded within our products.
3. Guide the architecture of our emerging Ontology-Based AI ERP/MES Platform, including Knowledge Graphs, GraphRAG, and Multi-Agent Systems.
4. Identify new AI-powered product opportunities in logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain that can become new revenue streams.

Organizational Change & Evangelism

1. Act as the internal evangelist for AI — communicate the vision, celebrate wins, and address concerns across all levels.
2. Work with HR to define new AI-focused roles (AI Agent Engineer, AI Knowledge Engineer, AI QA, etc.) and refine hiring criteria.
3. Partner with ODC/Client Delivery teams to package and sell AI capabilities to existing and new clients.
4. Represent CLT externally — conferences, thought leadership, talent branding— positioning CLT as an AI leader in Vietnam's IT services industry.

Job Requirements

Must-Have

1. 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML —either building AI systems or leading AI adoption in engineering organizations.
2. Deep hands-on experience with modern AI tooling: LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, open-source models), RAG architectures, AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code), and agentic AI frameworks.
3. Strong software architecture background — you understand what good engineering looks like and can earn the respect of senior engineers.
4. English fluency (verbal & written) — you will collaborate with Korean leadership, global clients, and international AI partners.
5. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority —you can influence engineering teams, product managers, and executives alike.

Strongly Preferred

1. Experience driving AI adoption at scale (100+ engineers) — you've done this before, not just read about it.
2. Knowledge of ERP, MES, or supply chain/logistics domains — or demonstrated ability to rapidly learn complex enterprise domains.
3. Experience with multi-agent AI systems, knowledge graphs, or ontology-driven architectures.
4. Familiarity with AI cost optimization — token management, model selection, inference cost benchmarking.
5. Background in IT services/outsourcing or understanding of the ODC delivery model.
