AI Engineer

TripHunter builds AI Agent solutions that automate consulting, sales, customer engagement, and various operational workflows for businesses.

We are looking for an AI Engineer:

What You'll Do:

• Work with AI Platform provider APIs (OpenAI, VertexAI, etc.) to develop and optimize prompts for real-world business needs.
• Design and develop production-ready chatbot systems written in Python (FastAPI) and powered by AI Agents that generate thousands of messages everyday.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow best practices in AI application development.
• Take ownership of smaller AI projects and features.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in software development.
• At least 0.5-1 year of hands-on experience with AI (LLM) application development or related projects.
• Solid understanding of semantic search and vector embedding concepts.
• Experience with AI Platform provider APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.).
• Strong Python programming skills with understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with databases, particularly PostgreSQL and vector databases.
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of software testing and debugging practices.

Nice to Haves:

• Basic frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for full-stack capabilities.
• Previous experience building conversational AI or chatbot applications.
• Experience with prompt engineering.
• Good English reading skills (for technical documentation).
• Ability to work independently.
