Are you an AI Engineer who is passionate about building AI Native Infrastructure
About Ringkas
We're building AI-powered financial infrastructure, working with 33 major banks to improve and scale their conversion.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Take on the challenges of building our Agentic AI with interesting use cases for fintech.
- Being the tip of the spear in our technical team, ensuring to leverage the best and latest technologies to keep us in the game.
- Be owner of your product. Voice in your own opinions of every aspects of our product from tech, logic to UI/UX. And turn those innovative ideas into deliverables.
Requirements
Core requirements
- Strong hands-on experience building production-grade agentic systems, including tool use, multi-agent orchestration, delegation, and agent interoperability protocols such as MCP; familiarity with ACP and A2A is a plus.
- Strong context engineering skills, including prompt and harness engineering, context-window and memory management, loop-control design, and RAG/information retrieval techniques such as ingestion, embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, and citation grounding.
- Experience designing reliable and safe agent behavior through structured outputs, tool schemas, guardrails, retry/fallback strategies, turn/token/time limits, human-in-the-loop controls, and secure tool access.
- Strong evaluation and observability mindset: designing offline and regression evaluations, analyzing traces, debugging quality or tool failures, and monitoring latency, cost, token usage, and production behavior.
- Strong Python software engineering skills for AI-serving systems: building agent runtimes, gateways, tool servers, and event-driven workflows using asynchronous APIs, PostgreSQL/Redis, queues, streaming/SSE, retries, idempotency, and automated tests.
- Security awareness for multi-tenant AI systems, including authentication and authorization, tenant isolation, PII handling, secrets hygiene, and auditability.
Collaboration and delivery
- Comfortable working closely with Software and DevOps teams: defining API contracts, diagnosing integration issues, and helping unblock urgent delivery work.
- Basic operational literacy in Docker, CI/CD, cloud services such as GCP, and production deployment workflows. Full DevOps ownership is not required.
- Able to own a scoped feature end-to-end: agent/tool/config changes, tests and evaluations, trace-based debugging, and a safe DEV rollout.
- Communicates technical trade-offs clearly to product, software, and infrastructure stakeholders.
AI-Augmented Engineering
- Be able to use coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to work faster across research, implementation, testing, and debugging.
- Owns and validates all AI-assisted work, including quality, security, and production impact.
- Continuously improves AI-assisted workflows and shares proven practices with the team.
Research and innovation mindset
- Curious and pragmatic R&D mindset: able to evaluate new agent techniques while still shipping reliable product work.
- Keeps up with emerging approaches in context engineering, agent protocols, agent evaluation, and agent reliability.
- Experience or strong interest in self-improving/self-evolving agent systems is a plus, with a disciplined approach to safety, evaluation, and human approval.
