Role Description

The AI Engineer – GenAI Products is a full-time, on-site role based in Hanoi. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying generative AI products that leverage FiinGroup's financial and business data assets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and training machine learning and deep learning models, implementing NLP and pattern recognition algorithms, and integrating these models into production-grade software systems. The AI Engineer will collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into technical solutions, optimize model performance, and ensure scalability and reliability of AI services. The role also involves researching emerging GenAI techniques, experimenting with new architectures, and contributing to documentation and best practices for AI development within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Engineering, with experience building and deploying production-quality applications or services.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience working with APIs, backend services, databases, and modern development tools.
• Hands-on experience building applications with Large Language Models (LLMs), including commercial or open-source models.
• Experience with GenAI application patterns such as RAG, tool/function calling, agents, structured outputs, or AI workflow orchestration.
• Experience integrating AI models with enterprise data, APIs, databases, or external services.
• Familiarity with modern AI development frameworks and ecosystems such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, MCP, or equivalent technologies.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, context management, model evaluation, and techniques for improving reliability and reducing hallucinations.
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, cloud or on-premises deployment is beneficial.
• Ability to rapidly prototype, experiment, and turn ideas into working AI products.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across product, engineering, data, and domain teams.
• Background or interest in financial data, investment, business analytics, or industry research is a plus.
