About the role

We are looking for an AI Context Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js backend

development. This role combines deep backend engineering with Context

Engineering designing structured prompts, multi-step AI workflows, and

integrating AI-generated outputs into scalable, production-ready services.

What youll do

Backend & Middleware Development

Build and maintain Node.js services (APIs, microservices, pipelines).

Design middleware to integrate AI outputs into backend workflows.

Ensure reliability with caching, rate limiting, retries, and circuit breakers.

Context Engineering & AI Integration

Design structured prompts and JSON-driven templates for consistent AI

outputs.

Build multi-step and role-based prompting workflows with context

retention.

Govern the use of AI tools (Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to

align with coding standards and privacy policies.

System Design & Operations

Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis).

Ensure observability with OpenTelemetry (logs, metrics, traces).

What were looking for

5+ years of backend development with Node.js (TypeScript preferred).

Over 2 years of experience in Context Engineering, specializing in structured

prompt design, multi-step context chaining, and AI memory management for

consistent, high-quality outputs.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS in production.

Strong database experience (Postgres, MySQL, Redis). Practical experience with observability (OpenTelemetry, dashboards, alerting).

Nice to have

Experience with gRPC, MCP, or event-driven systems (Kafka, SQS, SNS).

Contributions to open-source (Node.js or AI-driven tools).
