As an AI Solution Architect, you will bridge the gap between our cutting-edge Generative AI research and real-world industrial applications. You aren't just shipping code; you are solving the last mile problem of AIensuring models are performant, grounded, and integrated into complex agent solutions to deliver tangible business results for our clients in E-commerce, Fintech, Gaming, and Digital Native Businesses (DNB).
Responsibilities
AI Solutioning & Strategic Advisory
- Partner with regional Sales teams to qualify leads, identify client pain points, and design end-to-end AI/Cloud architectures that drive business growth.
- Lead the enterprise client engagement lifecyclefrom initial demos and RFI/RFP responses to architecture workshops and Proof-of-Concept (POC) delivery.
- Act as a Trusted Advisor for C-level executives, providing thought leadership on GenAI trends, AI infrastructure, and industry-specific use cases.
AI-Native Agent Design & Prototyping
- Rapidly design and iterate on AI Agents based on client requirements (e.g., automated credit risk summaries for Fintech, or design-specific image/video generation for Media).
- Prototype complex workflows using advanced paradigms such as Re-Act, Multi-Agent systems, and Plan-and-Execute.
- Implement fine-tuned models and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines tailored to specific industry needs.
Production-Ready Implementation
- Write production-quality code to integrate AI model APIs into various frameworks (ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Tackle engineering challenges around latency, throughput, and cost. Optimize prompt chains and implement caching strategies to ensure AI features scale for millions of users.
- Develop rigorous Evaluation Frameworks (LLM-as-a-judge, human-in-the-loop) to ensure outputs are safe, accurate, and hallucination-freecritical for compliance-heavy industries like Finance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with global Product and Algorithm Research teams to feed field signals back into the core product roadmap.
- Drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities by identifying technical gaps in the client's existing ecosystem that BytePlus solutions can fill.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Pre-sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
- Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, RAG, prompt engineering, and Vector Databases, different fine tuning techniques
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, PyTorch) and experience with orchestration frameworks like LangChain, Langgraph, GoogleADK, CrewAI, etc.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying models on public cloud providers.
- High fluency in verbal and written English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large DNB & Internet clients in verticals like E-commerce, Fintech, Media & Advertisement, IT Services & Solutions, or Gaming.
- Practical knowledge of GPU selection and model inference acceleration frameworks (vLLM, sglang, TensorRT-LLM), defining and implementing advanced MLOps/LLMOps practices
- A Can-Do attitude, comfortable with the fast-paced and ambiguous startup environment within a large organization.
