The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the sales of Katien Ranger Patrol's tour products across multiple channels, including travel agents, corporate clients, partnerships, and personal networks. This role focuses on expanding market reach, strengthening key relationships, and ensuring consistent sales performance.

Working closely with the Sales Director and internal teams, the Sales Manager also ensures seamless coordination in service delivery while contributing to overall business strategies and brand growth.

B2B: Partner & Channel Development

  • Contracting & Rate Management: Develop Travel Agent channels, distribute contracts for this segment. Set up and develop OTA channels.
  • Product Presentation: Conduct regular product webinars and in-person presentation sessions for travel agent frontline staff to ensure they can confidently sell Katien Ranger Patrol products.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor allotment and inventory levels for B2B partners, ensuring high-demand periods are optimized for maximum revenue.

B2C: Direct Consumer Growth

  • Lead Conversion: Promptly handle and convert direct inquiries from the website, social media, email, and phone into confirmed bookings.
  • Digital Presence & Content: Collaborate with Marketing to ensure tour products are accurately and attractively represented on the website and OTA (Online Travel Agency) profiles.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Execute targeted B2C sales promotions, seasonal offers, and early-bird discounts to drive direct volume.
  • Guest Experience & Upselling: Provide personalized itinerary consultations to potential guests and identify opportunities to upsell premium add-ons or extended patrol packages.
  • Customer Loyalty: Implement a follow-up system for past guests to encourage repeat bookings, referrals, and positive online reviews (TripAdvisor, Google, etc.).

Team Management

  • Manage and mentor Travel Consultants, providing daily guidance on lead handling, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Oversee daily workflows, including the assignment of inquiries, monitoring response times, and ensuring all B2C interactions meet brand standards.
  • Conduct regular sales coaching and performance reviews for the B2C team to achieve individual and collective monthly targets.
  • Audit booking accuracy within the booking system to ensure data integrity before passing files to the Operations team.
  • Develop and grow direct sales by identifying high-value consumer trends and optimizing the team's conversion strategies.

Collaborations

  • Cooperate closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless booking execution, addressing logistical challenges to maintain consistently high service quality.
  • Facilitate pre-departure briefings between Sales and Operations to ensure specific guest requirements or VIP partner requests are clearly understood.
  • Support the Sales Director in overseeing departmental activities, ensuring strategic alignment across all B2B and B2C channels.
  • Act as a bridge for communication, streamlining the flow of information between the front-end sales team and the back-end field/ranger teams.
  • Standardize Sales Procedures to improve efficiency and minimize errors during the booking-to-operation handoff.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Sales Director, including representing the company at industry events or managing high-level troubleshooting.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or related service industries.
  • Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Eager to learn and willing to take on challenges.
  • Professional fluency in English and Vietnamese.
  • Good Office skills.
  • Strong passion for nature-based, adventure, or experiential tourism.
