JOB SUMMARY
The Advance Supplier Quality Supervisor will drive the ASQE Engineers to collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) and Quality Engineering (QE) teams to work with suppliers on new component development and qualification, including CTQ dimension review, inspection method development, and PPAP document development.
In addition, this role will lead supplier manufacturing process assessments and development, focusing on quality control and inspection capabilities to ensure suppliers have the knowledge and ability to manufacture parts in accordance with TTI drawing specifications and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
Lead the ASQE team (ASQE Engineers) to:
- Collaborate with the NPI and QE teams on new component development and qualification, including:
- CTQ dimension review
- Inspection method development
- PPAP document development
- Evaluate and improve supplier manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and inspection capabilities.
- Support the Sourcing and OPEX teams in assessing new suppliers technical capabilities before business award and tooling release.
- Partner with the SQE team to ensure part quality consistency from the NPD stage through post-mass production (MP).
- Ensure suppliers meet TTI quality standards and develop suppliers to achieve these quality requirements when necessary.
- Review engineering specifications and drawings to determine suppliers capability to meet requirements, and provide recommendations on material-related design modifications when appropriate.
- Provide on-site leadership at supplier locations to drive quality improvement activities and team performance.
- Work closely with Engineering to implement technical document changes when required.
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality performance reports for Quality Management Senior Management.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering or Quality-related roles.
- Familiar with component manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Proven experience in team management.

Functional Skills
- Reliability testing experience is preferred, including familiarity with test design, test conditions, failure analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Chinese communication skills are highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) is an advantage.
