We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
System Attribute Lead to join our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, managing, and validating system-level attributes (e.g., performance, safety, cybersecurity, usability) for ADAS features across the development of lifecycle. The system capability goes beyond L2 legacy but L2+ and L2++ levels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including system architects, software developers, hardware engineers, validation teams, and external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and Verify System-Level Attributes:
- Identify and specify key system attributes and performance requirements relevant to ADAS features (e.g., user experience, comfort, safety, etc.).
- Derive attribute requirements from stakeholder needs, regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 26262, UNECE R152), NCAPs assessment and OEM guidelines.
- Requirements Engineering:
- Develop and maintain attribute-specific requirements (target setting) and KPIs.
- Ensure traceability from high-level customer needs to implementation and validation.
- System Integration & Verification Support:
- Guide integration teams to ensure that architectural decisions support system attribute goals.
- Collaborate with validation teams to design and execute attribute test cases, scenarios, and simulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the focal point for system attributes within ADAS projects.
- Coordinate with system architects, safety managers, cybersecurity experts, and quality teams to ensure harmonization of attribute goals.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and dashboards for attribute tracking and compliance.
- Support ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO/SAE 21434 work products as needed.
- Maintain documentation on requirement management tools, like Codebeamer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, preferably in ADAS or autonomous driving.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and V-model development.
- Knowledge of automotive standards: ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO/SAE 21434, and SOTIF (ISO 21448).
- Familiarity with ADAS features (e.g., AEB, ACC, LKA, Traffic Sign Recognition).
- Proficiency in requirements tools (e.g., Codebeamer, DOORS, Polarion)
- Experience with simulation, performance analysis, and attribute verification methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vehicle-level testing and data analysis.
- Knowledge of sensor technologies: radar, camera, ultrasonic.
- Previous exposure to OEM or Tier 1 supplier development vehicle performance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions.
