  • Responsible for first analyzing and leading triaging of ADAS defect reports (bugs) from multiple sources (including internal and customer-facing issues) into Supplier and VinFast system team.
  • Coordinator Issue from Suppliers and VinFast system teams, VinFast Program teams to build a roadmap for software issues resolution
  • Own, maintain, develop, and improve the defect management process.
  • Ensure that the information provided in defects is complete, up-to-date, and follows the defect management process
  • Collect the requirements on defect management tools and facilitate their development and extension by the internal and external service providers.
  • Actively monitor incoming defects and rate the severity of the defects Identify and provide metrics/statistics to measure the arrivals and resolution of defects.
  • Work with internal and external team to ensure that defects have clear ownership and that the next steps are clearly defined
  • Support Program quality gates meetings for Software issues
  • Develop bug trend reports on a per-component and per-release basis
  • Provide visibility into the latest ticket status and highlight items that appear to have stalled
  • Develop weekly software issues status reports and trending reports
  • Identify and implement process & tool improvements to improve software issue resolution times
  • Owner for topic of diagnostic, FOTA and secure CAN.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Software Quality, Software Integration, Defect Management, Validation, System Engineering, or a similar role within the automotive, embedded systems, or software industry.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software integration, validation, and defect management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Polarion, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
  • Good understanding of automotive software architecture and embedded systems.
  • Experience working with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, UDS diagnostics, or related automotive communication technologies.
  • Familiarity with ECU software, Diagnostic, FOTA, Secure CAN, or other automotive software domains.
  • Experience coordinating technical issues across multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, software development teams, validation teams, and program management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform defect triage, prioritize issues based on technical and business impact, and drive issue resolution.
  • Experience defining, improving, or optimizing defect management processes and reporting metrics is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global engineering environment with strong ownership and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
