Job Purpose

The Actuarial Analyst will support the In-force Management team in delivering accurate and timely actuarial analysis across persistency, expense, par rate governance, and in-force portfolio monitoring. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and actuarial best practices while contributing to business performance and governance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the first gatekeeper for BAU topics, ensuring the scope aligns with company strategy and that data is accurate and complete before any review.
  • Contribute to expense study analysis, providing analytical insights to optimize processes and methodology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, FBP, Expense Management) to provide actuarial input for business initiatives.
  • Support PAR bonus calculation activities, including data preparation, customers request and ad-hoc projects.
  • Prepare persistency reports and presentations for internal submissions.
  • Maintain actuarial policies and procedures and ensure all work meets internal control and audit standards.
  • Participate in ad-hoc actuarial investigations and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field.
  • Progress in actuarial exams (SOA, IFoA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 0-3 years of actuarial experience in life insurance or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and actuarial software programming skills (e.g., VBA, Python, R) are a plus.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
